The legend has officially retired! Our Waltonwood Royal Oak Senior living community came together to celebrate the retirement of our Environmental Services Technician, Bashkim. After an incredible 14 years with Waltonwood Bashkim has truly earned his status as a legend. Over the years he has given so much of his time, talent and heart to our community. His dedication hard work and presence will be deeply missed by residents and associates alike. Bashkim, we wish you nothing but the very best in this next chapter and we hope you enjoy finally having plenty of time to relax! You have earned it!

An Adventure Blooming with Meaning!

Adventures by Waltonwood are all about creating meaningful moments personalized just for our residents. For Gerry, who has a true passion for gardening and flowers, her special adventure led her to Meadowbrook Hall for a private tour of their gardens. Sandy, a wonderful Garden Club volunteer, guided Gerry through the various gardens across the Meadowbrook property, sharing fascinating history, stories, and exciting plans for the future. Along the way Gerry discovered unique varieties of flowers she had never seen before! The day ended with a lovely souvenir to commemorate her special adventure, followed by lunch with some close friends. It was a beautiful day filled with friendships, discovery, and flowers - everything Jerry loves!

Did you know we are always collecting bottles and cans!?! You may drop them off any time, as there is an outdoor area to put them if we are closed. We use the proceeds to help with vet bills! Thank you in advance!

✨SURPRISE!! ✨ It wasn’t easy keeping it a secret, but we pulled off a beautiful surprise baby shower for our Executive Director, Taylor. Our families, Residents, and associates came together with so much love and generosity to celebrate Taylor and the sweet baby girl who will be arriving soon! We are so grateful for everyone who helped make this special day one to remember. Congratulations Taylor! We can’t wait to meet your little one! 💕👶
