We are beyond pleased to announce our new program, Bravehearts, for children needing mental health & behavioral health care.

Brave Hearts™ is a Biblical Mental Healthcare Intervention System for Children and Teens
created by Higher Hopes Counseling®.
Through evidence-informed psychoeducation, interactive activities, play and game theory, practical life skills, mental health awareness, self-regulation, and Biblical wisdom, Brave Hearts™ helps children develop emotional intelligence & awareness, resilience, healthy choices & relationships, confidence, and faith-centered coping skills.

Designed for ages 5 through adolescence, the program equips counselors with flexible tools that can be used to address specific challenges or support a child's overall emotional and spiritual growth in 12 vital areas of growth- Helping children build brave hearts for life's biggest challenges.

Making new friends as an adult is harder than one can imagine. This article has 4 easy "conversation continuers" (the ones that come after the conversation starters) that can help but notice the one thing in all of these: the person asking them (you) assumes they deserve a friendship, seat at the table, place to belong.

You can ask all the questions you want but if you don't believe you are worth being enjoyed, liked and loved, then true relationships will never find you. You deserve healthy friendships; you are designed for connection.

"Modern Friendship" author Anna Goldfarb says these four questions can help you figure out if an acquaintance is meant to be a true friend.
