If laser treatment has been on your mind, this is a great time of year to start the conversation. Many patients prefer to plan resurfacing and other light-based treatments for seasons with less intense sun exposure, though candidacy, timing, and aftercare all depend on the individual and need to be discussed with a provider first.

Summer may be ending, but your skin can still be showing the effects of sun, heat, and time spent outdoors. Uneven tone, dryness, acne flare-ups, and lingering irritation are all common this time of year, and most of them respond better to a plan than to a new product.

A new way to connect with the ReNu Medical & Spa team is now available! Our updated website brings medical dermatology, cosmetic treatments, and spa services together in one place, along with appointment information, new patient details, and answers to the questions we hear most often.

If you're weighing your options, our new site is a great place to start. Someone considering acne treatment, a skin cancer screening, Botox, a facial, or a massage can review the relevant service section first and then call with their questions already narrowed down. Each service area explains what the treatment addresses and what a first visit generally involves.

One thing to know before you call is that appointments run through two different lines. Medical and cosmetic visits are scheduled through our main office at (620) 308-6123, while spa visits go through our dedicated spa line at (620) 404-4772, and both lines accept calls and texts.
