June is Men’s Health Month — a good reminder that prostate cancer awareness starts with understanding the data. In Kansas, prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed invasive cancer and the second leading cause of cancer death among men. Congratulations to one of our own, Sarah Jo Richards-Maske. We are always proud of the hard work our employees put in to making programs in our community successful! Russell FFA

A HUGE shout out to Sarah Jo Richards-Maske. She held down the FFA barn last week while we were at State Convention and made sure all the animals were taken care of and stayed comfortable. Sarah is a constant resource for help, advice, and know how. Honestly, I would be lost without her assistance.

This is why, among all the other help she provides the program, she was selected as the 2026 Honorary FFA Degree recipient at the chapter banquet this spring.

We love our residents in our long-term care department also known as Main Street Manor, and we strive to provide them with fun activities just as if they were living in their home. This month we celebrated Cinco De Mayo, Mother’s Day with a tea party & live entertainment, and had an Ice Cream Social with all the residents and staff at RRH.

Main Street Manor is located on the third floor of Russell Regional Hospital and offers a caring and cozy environment with a great view of Russell’s beautiful historic Main Street.

We are always looking for RN’s and CNA’s to join our dedicated team in providing our residents quality healthcare, happiness, and safety for your loved one.
