💉 When is the best time to get your flu shot?

While many large chain pharmacies begin promoting flu shots as early as August, timing matters when it comes to getting the best protection throughout flu season.

Flu vaccine protection can decrease over time, so for most people, October is an ideal time to get vaccinated—helping you maintain protection through the heart of flu season and into the winter months.

📅 Our flu vaccine appointments will be available Monday–Sunday, making it easy to find a time that works for you.

🏥 We’ll also be hosting community vaccine events, so be sure to follow our page for upcoming dates and locations!

🚶 Walk-ins are welcome Tuesday–Friday.

If you’re planning to get your flu shot this season, consider scheduling for October to help maximize your protection when you need it most.

As always, the best timing can vary based on age, health, and individual circumstances. Talk with your healthcare provider about what’s right for you.

August in National Immunization Awareness Month
Looking forward to the next couple months we would like to highlight our flu vaccination services! Although we do recommend getting your flu vaccine in September or October for better protection we are still accepting on-site clinic bookings for organizations & home bound patients (to be scheduled by calling 724-265-1632)

As a PPCN pharmacy it is easier than ever to book larger flu clinics with us or a local pharmacy near you for your on-site clinic🤓
