The fun never stops at Everstead!

We’ve been staying active with group therapy, getting our hands dirty gardening, and cooling off with some water gun fun.

We kept the good times going with a Coke float party and wrapped it up with a great round of Bingo sponsored by Covenant Christian School’s Chick-fil-A Leadership Academy.

We love making memories together at Everstead!

12 Days to Independence

Redden Moore came to Everstead Health & Rehab requiring moderate assistance with transfers, dressing, and daily activities, along with unsteady mobility and limited walking distance.

In just 12 days, Redden made outstanding progress. By discharge, he was modified independent with a cane for ambulation, transfers, dressing, and ADLs, with good standing balance. He achieved 100% of his therapy goals and was able to safely return home.

Redden shared his appreciation for our team, saying, “I couldn't have done this without you girls. Y'all have a good thing here!” — a reflection of the strong support and care he experienced throughout his stay.

We are proud of the hard work and determination he showed on his journey to independence!

This Mother’s Day, we’re celebrating the incredible women who give so much of themselves both at work and at home.

Our nurses and caregivers don’t just care for residents, they shape lives in more ways than one. After long shifts filled with compassion, patience, and dedication, they go home and continue that same love and care with their own families. The impact they make doesn’t end when they clock out.

To the mothers on our team, thank you for the strength you show, the sacrifices you make, and the example you set every single day. You are raising the next generation with the same kindness and heart you bring to our residents.
