When Jim Bob Humphrey learned of the death today of the Country Music Hall of Famer Dolly Parton, he said, "We will be lowering our flag at Center Valley Memorial Gardens in honor of Dolly Parton's passing," and hoped that our government would do the same.

A few hours later, the White House announced that all US flags are ordered to be lowered to half-staff for one week, in honor of one of our nation's most loved and enjoyed country music artists, Dolly Parton.

Each spring, we host a Community Fishing Derby, and Arkansas Game and Fish stocks our pond with giant catfish! Throughout the year, we maintain the pond and surrounding area as a peaceful place where families and community members can spend time together—fishing, visiting, and sharing stories.

Our catch-and-release pond is open to the public, and we’d love for you to enjoy it. We simply ask that you help us care for this special place by being respectful of the property and the loved ones who rest here, leaving the area as you found it, and please no driving on the grass.
