Linda Collins, age 76, passed away Tuesday, May 09, 2026, at her residence.
There will be a private memorial service held at a later date.
She was a strong, loving woman whose heart was devoted to her family, and her memory will always be cherished by all who had the blessing of knowing and loving her.
Linda and Don shared nearly 60 years of marriage, and through all of life’s ups and downs, they stayed right by each other’s side. They were truly the love of each other’s lives.
She never was one to hold back, whether it was speaking her mind or showing love to the people around her. She had a generous heart and was always ready to help whenever someone was in need.
She was active in her community and enjoyed being part of organizations like the Red Hat Society and the Quilters Club. In true fashion, she spoke her mind, stood her ground, and made sure you always knew exactly where she stood, and that is one of the many things that made her so special.
Linda leaves to cherish her memoires, her husband of 59 years, Donald Wayne Collins; daughter Tammy Collins(Randy Hansen); father of her grandchildren, Jerry Paquette; grandchildren, Chad Paquette( Tasha), Chase Paquette and Noah Paquette; great-grandchildren, Jaxx Paquette, Nixon Paquette and Briel Paquette; brother, Dexter Lindley, and a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephew. And a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by parents, William Floyd and Bertha Mabel Lindley, siblings, Delores, Helen, Johnny, William, W.C. Lindley and Glen Royce.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to her Hospice team, and especially to her niece, Teresa Wilson, for being there day after day and caring for them with such love and devotion. She loved deeply, gave freely, and leaves behind a lifetime of love, strength, and precious memories that her family will hold close forever. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her, but the love she gave and the life she lived will stay in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
