Today we celebrate a special milestone in the life of Brian Tarpley—receiving his first car. This moment is more than just obtaining transportation; it is a testimony of God’s faithfulness, provision, and the fruit of perseverance.

A first car represents new opportunities, greater responsibility, and another step forward in the journey God has prepared. As Brian continues to walk in faith and serve others, may this blessing remind him that every good gift comes from the Lord and that God is faithful to provide for His children. Scripture teaches that God delights in guiding the steps of those who trust Him and honors faithfulness in both small and great things.

Scripture:

“And my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 4:19 (KJV)

Congratulations, Brian! May this vehicle be used for God’s glory, to serve others, to grow in responsibility, and to continue the work God has called you to do. May every mile be covered by His grace, protection, and favor.

“The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.” — Psalm 121:8 (KJV)

My name is Devin, and by the grace of God, this is my testimony.

For over 20 years, my life was consumed by active addiction. From the outside, it may have seemed like I had a good life, but deep down I was lost and living apart from God’s purpose for me. Today, however, I can say with confidence that I am no longer defined by my addiction. I am a child of God, saved by grace through Jesus Christ.

God has completely changed my perspective. What once identified me as an addict has become part of the testimony He is using for His glory. Instead of being trapped in darkness, He has called me to be a guide and encourager to those who are still struggling and searching for hope. The same grace that rescued me is available to them.

One of the greatest blessings in my journey has been Project Hope. Through this ministry, God has used faithful people and biblical truth to draw me closer to Him. It became a place where I learned what true surrender looks like—a place where I stopped trying to control everything and allowed God to work in my life.

As I surrendered, I began to experience the Father’s love in a deeper way than ever before. His love brought healing, restoration, and transformation. I discovered that God’s embrace is not one of condemnation but of mercy, grace, and acceptance. Through His love, I found freedom and purpose.

During this season of spiritual growth, I realized that even the painful years of addiction were not wasted. God has used every part of my story to build an unshakable foundation in Christ. What the enemy meant for destruction, God has used for strengthening my faith and preparing me to serve others.

Today, I strive to be the salt and light that Jesus calls His followers to be. I want others who are walking in darkness to see the hope that is found in Christ alone. Just as God guided me out of addiction and into freedom, I pray that He will use my life to point others toward His saving grace.

My testimony is simple: God’s grace is real, God’s love is powerful, and surrendering to Jesus changes everything. I am living proof that no one is beyond the reach of God’s mercy. Through Christ, healing is possible, freedom is available, and a new life can begin.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17

Monday Motivation

A new week is a new opportunity to trust God, walk in faith, and serve others with the love of Christ. No matter what challenges lie ahead, remember that God has already gone before you. His strength is made perfect in our weakness, and His grace is sufficient for every step of the journey.

Don’t focus on how big the obstacles seem, focus on how great your God is. Keep your eyes on Jesus, stay faithful in the small things, and trust that He is working all things together for your good and His glory.

Scripture:
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” — Joshua 1:9

Our Friday Prayer

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with hearts burdened for the lost, the hurting, and the broken. Lord, there are so many carrying pain, shame, addiction, fear, loneliness, and wounds too deep for words. But we know that Your love reaches where no one else can reach, and Your healing power restores what the world has torn apart.

Jesus, You are the Great Physician. You heal hearts, renew minds, break chains, and bring dead things back to life. We pray today for every soul wandering in darkness, every person who feels forgotten, and every heart crushed by disappointment and sin. Let Your light shine into the deepest places of their lives.

Lord, remove bitterness and replace it with peace. Remove fear and replace it with faith. Remove despair and replace it with hope. Where there is addiction, bring freedom. Where there is anxiety, bring rest. Where there is emptiness, fill them with Your presence.

Father, remind them that no one is too far gone for Your grace. Your mercy is greater than every mistake, and Your love is stronger than every chain. Draw the lost back to You and heal the brokenhearted through the power of Christ.

Use us to be Your hands and feet — to love, encourage, pray, and walk beside those who are hurting. Let our lives reflect the compassion and healing of Jesus everywhere we go.

Your Word says:

“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” — Psalm 147:3

And:

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28

We stand on those promises today, believing healing, restoration, and salvation are possible through Jesus Christ.

In the mighty name of Jesus,
Amen.
