🍂🍦 A Little Sunshine and Something Sweet! ☀️❤️

Beautiful fall weather calls for a little fresh air, delicious ice cream, and wonderful company! Onella, Ida, and Tricia spent some quality time together on the patio, enjoying the sunshine, sharing smiles, and making sweet memories.

It’s these simple, everyday moments of laughter, friendship, and togetherness that make life at Village Green Sachse so special! 🍁💕

🎶🎳 Ida said, “Why pick one talent when you can do both?” 💚 She kept us entertained with her singing while knocking down pins and having the best time!

Bowling, music, smiles, and plenty of personality. Ida definitely stole the show today! 🎤✨

Popcorn just tastes better when it’s homemade! 🍿😋 We popped up a fresh batch for our snacks today and had the best time munching, chatting, and enjoying the afternoon together.

Safe to say… the popcorn disappeared pretty fast! 😂❤️

Today, our caregivers proudly wore red, white, and blue as we paused to honor and remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001. 🇺🇸

We remember those whose lives were taken too soon, the first responders and everyday heroes who showed extraordinary courage, and the countless families forever changed by that day.

Twenty-five years later, we remember. We honor. We will never forget. ❤️🤍💙

🏈💙 Spirit Month is in full swing at Village Green Sachse! 💙🏈

Today we rocked our favorite sports team gear, and Lauren, our Manager of Resident Care, and caregiver Ally were proudly representing the Dallas Cowboys! ⭐️

Around here, there was really only one team to choose. 😉 HOW ’BOUT THEM COWBOYS! 💙🤍🏈

✨💎 Glitz, Glam & a Little Bit of Silliness! 💎✨

Dolly Parton Week continued with Glitz & Glam Day, and Ida showed up in her absolute finest! ✨ Just look at that sparkle! 😍

Of course, once Ida and our Manager of Resident Care, Lauren, got together for pictures, things got a little silly. 😂💕 Because sometimes the best moments are the ones filled with laughter, a little goofiness, and lots of love.

Ida definitely brought the glam, but that smile says she enjoyed the fun just as much. 💎✨

💕 Spread Kindness Day — Dolly Parton Week! 💕

Today’s theme was all about something Dolly has always done so well: putting a little more kindness into the world. ✨

Our team wore shirts filled with positive words, uplifting messages, and reminders that sometimes the smallest bit of kindness can completely change someone’s day. 💗

In memory care, kindness is so much more than simply being nice. It’s patience when someone needs a little extra time, reassurance when the world feels confusing, a smile, a gentle touch, a laugh, and making sure the people around us feel loved and valued.

Today was our little reminder to choose kindness, spread it freely, and leave people feeling better than we found them. 🦋💕

🎶 Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Joleeeene! 🎶

Dolly Parton Week continued today with Jolene Day, and our team came ready in their best western wear! 🤠✨ Boots, denim, fringe, belt buckles, and plenty of country charm made their way through Village Green today.

We’re having way too much fun celebrating Dolly this week, and judging by these pictures, I think the team understood the assignment! 😂💕🤠

A fresh manicure for Tricia! 💅💗

She and Latoya spent a little time picking colors and getting those nails just right. Because sometimes you just need a little pink polish in your life! 🥰

Moments like these are about so much more than pretty nails. They create opportunities for one-on-one connection, conversation, choice, and maintaining the familiar routines of self-care that have always been a part of who our residents are. 💕✨

🎶 Tumble outta bed and stumble to the kitchen… 🎶

It’s Dolly Parton Week at Village Green, and today’s theme was “Workin’ 9 to 5!” 💼💕 Our team dressed in our best 9-to-5 attire and, naturally, turned it into a full-blown office photoshoot. 😂

We work hard, we take care of our residents, and we definitely know how to have a little fun along the way! 💗

Dolly Week is officially underway! 🎶✨
