J.C. was just in for her 1-year anniversary visit following her Bariatric surgery/Sleeve Gastrectomy. What she has accomplished is absolutely amazing!!
She has gone from a high weight of 319 lbs., down to 167 lbs.!!! But what is most important is that she has regained her self confidence, the quality of her daily life has drastically improved, and she is much HAPPIER!!! On average, a woman who undergoes Bariatric surgery for morbid obesity, gains 8 years on her life-expectancy; the average morbidly obese man will gain 12 years. But simply undergoing an operation is NOT the only solution: you have to combine it with healthier eating and increased exercise. The ultimate goal of bariatric care is improved health and increased happiness, not simply weight loss. J.C. Summed it up by saying “I’m free!” We are so happy for you and your new life!!!
