The older I get, the more I have to do, the more stress settles into everyday - outside of my control. Personally, I do what I can in that first slide’s list. And somehow it still doesn’t work to address the stress levels.
However, I have noticed that.. time without need, is the gentlest way I can feel reconnected with myself again. To be free without being on alert, caring for something else, or needing to tell others what to do. I just need that moment alone to be fully me and free again.
Float therapy in its simplest form is exactly that. It’s that physical and physiological reminder of “simply being”. Just an hour of nothing is such an integral reminder to your body’s nervous system for reconnection.
