Sacramento Public Library is bringing the Outreach Library to HeartLand once a month, and this is our very first visit. Help us give them a warm welcome. Come out, bring friends and family, and stop by to sign up for a card, borrow something good, or get online for free.

👉 A lot is going on right now — and if the weight of the world feels heavy, you’re not alone.

This stress finds its way into our homes, our moods, and our everyday moments. For kids and teens especially, they pick up on more than we realize.

You don't have to find the perfect words or know all the answers.

Just staying close, being patient, and letting the people you love know they're safe with you — that's enough.

HeartLand is here for Sacramento families, whatever this season brings.

❤️Out in the Community — Every Week

Week after week, the HeartLand Outreach Team is doing whatever it takes to make sure families across Sacramento County know support is available.

You’ll find us at schools, community centers, food pantries, neighborhood events, and anywhere we’re invited to show up and serve.

Our goal is simple:
Make sure families and young people know they are not alone — and that help is close by when they need it.

If you see us out in the community, come say hello. We would love to meet you.

And if you are hosting a community event in Sacramento County and would like HeartLand to be there, reach out. We’re always glad to connect families with resources and support.

This week, we packed boxes — nutritious meals, ready to go — for families experiencing food insecurity. It’s one of the ways we try to live up to our motto: doing whatever it takes.

Our Del Paso Heights kitchen makes this possible. Our team makes it happen.

This week, HeartLand Advocates and the team at HeartLand’s commercial kitchen at our Del Paso Heights clinic are collaborating to bring nutritious meals to families we serve who are experiencing food insecurity.

Because wellness is holistic — and showing up for Sacramento families sometimes means meeting a need that goes beyond mental health support.

This is community care in action.

Braving cold temperatures and hitting the streets of Sacramento on January 26th, our HeartLand Cares Team joined 1000 other volunteers to complete the Point in Time count of those who are unhoused in Sacramento County. This count is essential as the foundation for funding to support Sacramento Steps Forward in their initiatives to provide homes and shelter for everyone. High fives 🎉all around for these HeartLanders who bundled up in their coats and hiking boots to extend kindness to our siblings who need shelter. Here are a few words from our HeartLand Cares Team about their experience.
