Our Therapy Manager, April Carpenter, is showcasing one of the many specialized tools available at UC Davis Rehabilitation Hospital: a robotic-assisted arm device that helps patients with stroke-related or hemiparetic arm weakness practice movement in a fun and engaging way.
By reducing the effects of gravity, patients can focus on improving movement, coordination, and accuracy while playing interactive games designed to support recovery.
