We tend to look at injury reports individually, focusing on what happened and what needs to happen next. But over time, those reports can tell a much bigger story.
Patterns may start to emerge, like delayed reporting at one location, recurring types of injuries, or more incidents during a particular shift. Looking at that information collectively can help risk and safety teams identify where processes, training, or prevention efforts deserve a closer look.
Good injury data can do more than document an incident. It can help organizations better understand what’s happening across their workforce.
