Please join us in congratulating our October Residence Week graduates! 🎉

This group includes new Right at Home owners, an existing owner, and team members from established Right at Home offices. Throughout the week, they came together to learn, collaborate, build connections, and deepen their understanding of the Right at Home system.

One of the most meaningful Residence Week traditions is graduation, where classmates recognize one another and share heartfelt reflections on how their peers shaped their experience. It's always inspiring to see individuals from different backgrounds, roles, and experiences come together to support and learn from one another.

Congratulations to this exceptional class on reaching this milestone. We can't wait to see the impact they'll make as they continue their Right at Home journey. 🩵🧡

Earlier this month, Air Force veteran Ron and Army veteran Clarence traveled to Washington, D.C., on a Queen City Honor Flight, visiting memorials honoring the sacrifices of those who served before them and alongside them.

Right at Home Rock Hill owner and Navy veteran Jim Ryan joined them as one of their guardians on the trip. He was proud to help celebrate this unforgettable experience and two American heroes.

"Ron and Clarence, thank you for your service and for allowing me to share this meaningful moment with you. I am proud to be part of this one last mission!"

POV: You decided to skip the coffee shop line and made the Viral Pumpkin Spice Latte at home instead. 🎃🥤

It’s creamy, perfectly spiced, and honestly better than the drive-thru version. Plus, it costs a fraction of the price!

Here’s how to make it:
✨ 2 shots espresso (or strong coffee)
✨ 1/2 cup milk of choice
✨ 2 tbsp pumpkin puree
✨ 1 tbsp maple syrup
✨ Dash of pumpkin pie spice

Directions: Froth, pour, and enjoy!
SAVE this recipe for your next Fall fix!

A few weeks ago, members of the Right at Home corporate team had the opportunity to volunteer with The Furniture Project - Omaha, where service took many forms. Some assembled toddler beds, some shopped for families in need, and others helped prepare incoming donations for their next home.

We also had the chance to connect with founder Drew Gerken, who shared the story behind the organization and the ways our missions intersect. His commitment to helping people live with dignity in their homes reflects the same values that inspire the work we do every day. We’re grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside an organization making such a meaningful impact in our community.

Thank you to the ALZHEIMER'S AID SOCIETY OF NORTHERN CALIFORNIA for hosting the 23rd Annual Charity Golf Tournament at Timber Creek Golf Course! We were proud to be one of the sponsors and to be part of an event that brings our community together for such an important cause.

It was a great opportunity to connect with others, show our support, and help raise awareness for those impacted by Alzheimer’s disease and their families.

At Right at Home, we’re grateful to be part of a community that continues to make a difference!

Sundowning is a pattern of increased confusion, anxiety, or restlessness that can appear in the late afternoon and evening for people living with dementia. While researchers are still learning about the exact causes, many believe it's linked to changes in the brain's internal clock, built-up fatigue, and reduced light, all happening at once.

The good news is that small changes can make a real difference:

2:00-3:00 PM: When your senior’s energy dips, offer rest or a calm activity.

3:00-4:00 PM: When the body clock slips, keep the home bright and stick to a steady routine.

4:00-5:00 PM: When light fades, turn on lights and close curtains to cut down on shadows.

5:00-6:00 PM: During busiest times of the day, lower the noise and turn off the TV.

6:00-8:00 PM: When confusion peaks, offer reassuring snacks or engage in familiar activities.

You don't have to figure this out alone. Our caregivers are trained to support families through every part of the day, including the hard hours.
