Lichen sclerosus doesn't get talked about much, which is exactly why so many women go years without a diagnosis. It's a chronic skin condition that affects the v***a, often showing up as itching, burning, tightness, or pain that gets brushed off as "just irritation." Dr. Kim is currently part of a study on treating it, and we're one of the only practices in the country offering profractional laser treatment.

If you've tried everything and still aren't finding relief, you're not out of luck. Book a consultation and we will talk you through your options.

Perimenopause.

Not menopause, not "just stress," not her imagination. Perimenopause is the transition leading up to menopause, and it can start in your late 30s, often a decade before your period actually stops.

And it's so much more than hot flashes. It can show up as exhaustion that sleep won't fix, mood shifts or anxiety before your period, trouble sleeping, brain fog, changes in your hair and skin.

If any of this sounds like you, you're not imagining it, and you're not alone. This is exactly what we're here for. 🩷

Book a visit or send us a DM, let's figure it out together.

We get asked constantly which birth control method is "best." The honest answer is that it depends on your body, your goals, and how much you want to think about it day to day.

If you're due for a change or just want to talk through your options, we're happy to help you figure out the best option for you 🤍

So many patients walk in already apologizing...

"Sorry, I should've come in sooner."
"Sorry, I don't really know how to explain it."
"Sorry, I know this is probably nothing."

You don't need to have the right words or the perfect list of symptoms. We ask the questions, we fill in the gaps, and we're genuinely invested in figuring it out with you. 🩷

There's a reason laser season is fall and winter, not the summer. Your skin needs to stay out of the sun after treatment, and most people need a few sessions, spaced out, to actually see real results. Which means if you are hoping to feel good in your skin by the holidays, September is the perfect time to start. ✨ 🎃🎄 🩷

It's not too late to start! Call us to book a free consultation.

You don't have to be skipping periods to be in perimenopause. These are the 5 signs that show up first and are ignored the longest:

1. Skin that suddenly feels different
New dryness, adult acne, or a loss of that bounce and glow. As estrogen drops, so does collagen and moisture — the "why does my skin look different?" feeling is real, and it's hormonal.

2. Thinning hair or more shedding than usual
A thinner ponytail or more hair in the brush. Shifting estrogen and androgens are often behind it — and it's frequently written off as "just stress."

3. Mood shifts that don't feel like you — the one most women miss
New anxiety, irritability, or a wave of rage in the days before your period, often more intense than any PMS you've had. This is the sign women brush off most, because they blame work, stress, or themselves — not their hormones. But the emotional whiplash of perimenopause is real, and naming it changes everything.

4. Sleep that won't cooperate
Waking at 3am like clockwork, or lying awake for no reason. Dropping hormones disrupt sleep directly — it's not just "getting older" or being too busy.

5. Cycles that keep changing the rules
Periods getting closer together, heavier, lighter, or just unpredictable. One of the earliest signs, and one of the most dismissed as "no big deal."

If this is sounding like you, let's talk about it. 🩷

Your health is the best thing you'll ever invest in. These are the things I think are truly worth it when it comes to taking care of you. Have you tried any of these? 🩷🤰🏻

More than half of women on birth control are taking it for reasons that have nothing to do with preventing pregnancy. In our office, it's one of the most common misconceptions we run into. Patients come in thinking birth control only does one job, when in reality it's one of the most versatile tools we have for treating what's actually going on with your cycle and hormones.

Do any of these sound familiar? If so, it might be worth bringing up at your next visit.
