🎉 Meet our August Employee Spotlight: Rachel Waskiewicz, from Saginaw ABA! 🎉
Rachel is a Behavior Technician (QBHP) and has been with our organization for eight years. Rachel has been a valued member of the Autism+ team, working across multiple clinics and alongside several BCBAs throughout her time with the company. While every member of the team plays an important role in keeping our clinic running smoothly, it is difficult to imagine our clinic functioning as effectively without Rachel’s dedication and initiative. Rachel consistently goes above and beyond in every aspect of her role. She has built meaningful relationships with both her clients and colleagues, creating a positive and supportive environment that benefits everyone around her. Her exceptional organizational skills have been instrumental and developing systems that keep our clinics, paperwork, organized, accessible, and inspection ready. These improvements have had a significant impact on our daily operations and overall clinic efficiency. In addition to her daily responsibilities, Rachel has generously invested her own time and resources to enhance our clinic environment. She has organized engaging social and sensory activities that encourage client interaction while providing opportunities to explore new textures, taste, and experiences that they may not otherwise have. Her creativity and commitment to enriching our client’s lives are evident in everything she does. Beyond her professional contributions, Rachel brings an infectious positivity to the clinic every day. Whether she’s jumping into help during sessions, brightening the office with her cheerful personality, or creating traditions like “fun drink Friday “, she consistently finds ways to lift the spirits of those around her and foster a positive workplace culture. Rachel has truly been an invaluable part of our clinic. Her dedication, compassion, initiative, and unwavering commitment to both our clients and her coworkers make her exceptionally deserving of this recognition. Rachel, thank you for everything you do. We love to see social interaction with our kids! Some of the favorite group activities for our Gratiot county center are games, magnetic toys, and of course the marble run! 👩🏽‍🤝‍👩🏼👨🏾‍🤝‍👨🏻

🐷 🐸 Social got a little messy this week! Our littles got to play with animals in “mud” made out of Cocoa Powder, Flour and Water. After the fun in the mud was all done, they made sure the animals were squeaky clean 🧼 We loved being able to explore a different type of sensory bin! 🐸 🐷

🦒 A new month means a new theme for socials at our Saginaw centers! The month of July we will learn all about animals! Our littles explored a zoo themed sensory bin last week! We were able to work on sitting in groups, cooperative play, turn taking and manding!🦓
