🎒 Back to school is right around the corner!

Between heavy backpacks, sitting in class all day, homework, sports, and busy schedules, it’s easy for kids (and parents!) to start feeling sore and worn out.

A backpack that’s too heavy or worn incorrectly can put extra strain on the neck, shoulders, and back. And for our student athletes, practices and games can add even more stress to the body.

A few simple reminders:
• Use both backpack straps
• Keep the backpack as light as possible
• Adjust the straps so it sits close to the body
• Stretch and take breaks from sitting when you can

Leah specializes in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, chair massage, hot stone massage, and scraping (IASTM). She is also currently gaining hands-on experience with cupping and is excited to continue building her skills in this technique.
