Skilled Nursing Home Week 2026- Moments in Bloom
Day 5- Grand Garden Party
We made beautiful floppy hats to wear for our afternoon garden party, flower pot bean bag toss, garden party social, and petting zoo with Chamberlin Pony Rides. This week sure was fun and exciting with different things each day. It was also Daisy's doggy birthday. Happy Birthday Daisy!

Day 4- Fun with Florals
We enjoyed a scavenger hunt with Optimal Care, made flower arrangements with Grohman's Flowers, and enjoyed ice cream with Mooney's mobile ice cream truck. Thank you all for making our day so great. Everything was wonderful!

We enjoyed Music from Cruz and his brother, snacks and horse racing. It was a nice and exciting afternoon at the club. Horse #1 Sparkles took the First Place again.

Day 2: Taste of the Tropics
At GLRC we made it a Tropical Day we made leis, when fishing for tropical fish in the pond to win prizes, played Aloha pants, went to a Hawaiian Drive-In where we watched 50 First Dates (with popcorn, Spam and Pineapple Sliders, and of course, Tropical Punch), and lastly had Kona Ice (it might have been the coldest day of last week and we had Kona Ice- but at least it was delicious).

Skilled Nursing Home Week 2026- Moments in Bloom
Day One: Budding Friendship.
Last week we enjoyed creating moments with our friends and and flowers with a variety of different activities. Monday we Painted with Marcus from the Care Team, Grew our Garden of Goodness (positive vibes and kind words mean everything), Enjoyed coffee at the Golden Perk, and made and shared friendship bracelets with all our friends.

You rae all amazing and we are so grateful. Thank you Monumental Car Club for getting all of the flyers out into the community, Mooney's Ice Cream Truck, Taste Buds Continental Fusion Food Truck, and everyone else.
