📚✏️ Back-to-School Reminder: Choose Kindness. 💙
As our kids head back to school, they’re walking into classrooms with more than just backpacks and school supplies. They’re bringing their feelings, their worries, their insecurities, and things that others may know nothing about.
This school year, let’s remind our kids to treat everyone with respect and kindness. ❤️
Not everyone will look the same.
Not everyone will dress the same.
Not everyone will have the newest clothes or shoes.
Not everyone will have the same interests, personality, family life, or experiences.
And not everyone will feel comfortable being exactly who they are yet.
What may seem like a harmless joke or comment to one person could hurt someone else deeply. You never truly know what someone is going through when they walk through those school doors.
🧠 Mental health matters.
Let’s teach our kids that being different isn't something to make fun of—it’s something to respect. Teach them to include the person sitting alone, compliment instead of criticize, and think before they speak.
A smile. A kind word. An invitation to sit together. Standing up for someone. These small things can make a BIG difference in someone’s day—and sometimes, in someone’s life.
Let’s make this school year one where our kids feel safe, accepted, respected, and valued. 💙
Be the reason someone feels like they belong.
