We had the opportunity to have the marker made for the City of St. Anthony’s time capsule, and it was installed today!

If you haven’t been to Clyde Keefer Park lately, take some time to go sit, listen to the water rushing by, and enjoy the beauty of this special place.

I moved away from St. Anthony in 2007 and moved back home this past spring. Yesterday marked six months since we opened Fall River Funeral Home, and being back has reminded me just how much I had forgotten about this beautiful area. Clyde Keefer Park is so peaceful and truly is a hidden gem in our community.

Go check out the new time capsule marker, take in the breathtaking view of the Tetons, listen to the water, and enjoy the beauty that surrounds us.

It really is good to be home, and serving The Upper Snake River Valley.

If you haven’t had a chance to see the beauty of these panicle hydrangeas, here’s your chance.

Autumn is here, and with the last day of September upon us, I find myself sitting here reflecting as I prepare the yard for winter.

It’s hard not to think about how far the funeral home has come. What started as a dirt lot covered in rocks is now a beautiful building and yard, full of color and life.

In many ways, I feel like that describes this past year for our family, too.

It’s no secret that this year has been extremely difficult for us. There have been storms, challenges, and moments when we wondered what was next. But just like the flowers that somehow find their way through, we’ve made it through.

Like a phoenix rising from the ashes. Like a buffalo standing strong in the storm.

Sometimes you just have to face the storm, push through it, and come out the other side—stronger, more grateful, and maybe even more beautiful than before.

We love this area. We are grateful to be home and to call it home, and we are incredibly thankful for the opportunity to serve the Upper Snake River Valley.

As our community continues to grow, finding safe places for Air Medical Transport to land is becoming more difficult due to power lines, full parking lots, development, and other obstacles. Our priority is creating a safe landing zone for patients, first responders, flight crews, and those nearby.

As I came around the corner on 2400 E this afternoon, after a memorial service in Ashton and my son’s football game, I caught a glimpse of the gold top and the American flag waving in the wind.

It honestly took my breath away.

I knew they were installing it, but somehow I had forgotten. Seeing it there today was such a powerful and beautiful surprise. I love this country, and I’m so grateful for the land and community we get to call home.

Thank you, KP Flag Poles, Jed and Kason Parkinson, for this incredible addition to Fall River Funeral Home! We absolutely love it!

It feels like the perfect finishing touch to our funeral home and a beautiful reminder of the country and community we are honored to serve.
