Labor Day reminds us that every role matters — especially in assisted living.
Here, labor looks like kindness, patience, teamwork, and showing up for people who depend on you.
We celebrated all weekend long because our staff and residents deserve to feel appreciated, seen, and loved. Friday’s joy blended right into Monday’s celebration, and the photos say it all — connection, laughter, and community.

Scenic Trip Shoutout!

Our residents enjoyed a beautiful scenic ride through downtown St. Augustine and out to Vilano Beach, complete with sunshine, ocean views, and one very excited resident whose smile stole the show.

Huge shoutout to our Activity Team — Bobby, our overall Activity Director at Silver Treasures St. Johns, and Row, Activity Director at Silver Treasures St. Augustine — for bringing the joy, the laughter, and the resilience needed for a full day of adventure.

The breeze tried to blow us away, the streets tried to confuse us, but the smiles won.

All Shook Up for July Birthdays! 🎉🕺

Silver Treasures at St. Augustine celebrated our July birthdays with music, dancing, photos, and plenty of smiles. As the saying goes, “July birthdays are wrapped in sunshine and filled with joy.” Those born in July are often known for their optimism and ability to see the good in every situation. A special visit from Elvis had everyone all shook up and made the day one to remember!

To our friends at Heritage Baptist Church — Pastor Garry, Bro. Jim, Bro. Don, Joannah, and our dear Ms. Dominie— thank you for showing up with hearts full of compassion and a spirit that fills the room every time you visit. Your presence doesn’t just bring music or scripture; it brings comfort, connection, and a sense of belonging that our resident treasures.
For some residents, spirituality is a source of strength. For others, it’s tradition.
And for some, it’s simply not part of their life — and that’s okay too. At Silver Treasures Facility doesn’t push religion, and it doesn’t hide it either. It simply makes space for each resident’s choices.

Red, white, and FULL‑BLOWN FREEDOM VIBES at Silver Treasures today! 🇺🇸✨

By the afternoon, the energy shifted into something beautifully patriotic as Cheryl That Blonde arrived to sing for our Fourth of July party. Her voice filled the room with familiar American classics, and suddenly you could feel it — that quiet pride, that shared history, that sense of belonging. Residents swayed, staff hummed along, and the whole room felt wrapped in red‑white‑and‑blue warmth. We finished it with our style of fireworks, snap and pop.

Celebrating 250 years of independence with splashes, songs, and community… that’s the heart of Silver Treasures. 🇺🇸❤️💙 , , ,
