We embraced the holiday spirit with a festive Christmas in July celebration at Fork N' Film! As Home Alone played on the big screen, every memorable scene came to life through a thoughtfully crafted menu—from gourmet pizzas and popcorn to lobster mac & cheese, shrimp cocktail, and ice cream sundaes.

With holiday sweaters, twinkling lights, festive drinks, and plenty of laughter, the evening was filled with friendship, fun, and unforgettable moments. Happy, healthy, purposeful living is about creating memories together all year long.

Beat the summer heat with the ultimate cool, sweet treats! 🍦🍪 We had the absolute best time spending a sun-filled afternoon with Chef Bill, crafting our very own customized ice cream sandwiches.

We loved every step of the process—picking our favorite fresh-baked cookies, pairing them with creamy ice cream, and adding toppings galore to build the perfect creation! It's all about taking time to savor life's sweet moments, get creative together, and share plenty of smiles in great company.

Who says you need snow to get into the holiday spirit? This week, we traded the winter chill for summer sunshine and got crafty. Using sparkling sea glass, our talented crafters created beautiful, shimmering Christmas tree lights. Then they picked up their paintbrushes for cheerful snowman paintings, bringing a little winter whimsy into the July heat!

An early-morning walk is a blessing for the whole day.” – Henry David Thoreau 🌤️

We couldn't agree more as we look at these gorgeous morning snapshots captured by our wonderful Chaplain Jean! The breeze was incredibly refreshing, the cloud patterns were lovely, and the local birds were comically active, putting a smile on everyone's face. We find that a quiet amble at dawn is the perfect way to calm chaotic thoughts, release yesterday's stress, and retune our hearts for the day ahead.

Stepping into the rich, deeply moving history of St. Augustine! 🏛️❤️ Our community had a truly meaningful week exploring a special piece of local heritage: the historic schoolhouse that later became St. Benedict the Moor School.

We learned how the Sisters of St. Joseph arrived in 1866 to educate African American children when opportunities were scarce, carrying that powerful legacy through the Civil Rights Movement. Walking through the classrooms and hearing the stories of the students who shaped this place was profoundly moving.

Today, the restored building is the St. Joseph Neighborhood Center, supporting single mothers and children. The restoration was gorgeous, preserving the character while giving it new purpose.

Such an inspiring reminder of how history and community support can come together in one place.

Virtual passports, historic architecture, and masterclass artwork by one of our very own! 🗺️🖌️ We love every single minute of our weekly Great Courses adventures. Diving into 'The World's Greatest Churches' alongside our resident artist, Clyde, has enhanced our appreciation for these sacred spaces in the most beautiful way.

Clyde has visited and painted several iconic buildings, such as the great churches of Russia. He shares his exquisite work on select Saturday mornings, right before class starts.

We believe that a happy, healthy life flourishes when we continue to learn, discover, and celebrate each other's passions side by side. Who is ready for our next class?

A spectacular showcase of imagination and pure talent! 🎨 We are absolutely bursting with pride after celebrating the incredible artists among us at the 2026 Westminster Communities Foundation Resident Art Show.

We had the joy of viewing stunning oil paintings, breathtaking photography, and unique mixed-media pieces that highlight the endless creativity thriving in our neighborhood. A huge, heartfelt congratulations to our wonderful neighbors, Peggy K. and Clyde A., for earning first place in the Mixed & Other Media and Watercolor categories, and to our team member, Emilia P., for her third-place finish in the Team Artistry: Oil category.

These impressive works of art were among the top in their categories from the over 300 entries submitted by talented artists from the Westminster Communities of Florida. Another opportunity to cultivate opportunities for a happy, purposeful life!

We were honored to celebrate the ribbon-cutting for our new Interactive Wall of Honor, dedicated to our community's veterans! The wall proudly displays photos and branches of service for each of our veteran neighbors, with plans to expand — we’ll add more information over time, along with recognition for our team members who have served as well.

The ceremony was a deeply meaningful moment, opening with a heartfelt prayer from Father Curt. Afterward, everyone gathered in the lounge for a reception filled with good company and delicious treats. Thank you to all who served and to everyone who joined us to honor them. This Wall of Honor will stand as a lasting tribute to their courage and sacrifice. 🇺🇸
