Another successful day at the barn. šŸ¤šŸ“

Itā€™s incredible to watch this program continue to grow and to witness the work thatā€™s happening here each week.

Every clientā€™s journey looks a little different. Some are working through trauma. Others are learning to manage anxiety, build confidence, strengthen relationships, or reconnect with themselves in ways they never expected.

There is something uniquely powerful about this environment. The horses donā€™t care about rĆ©sumĆ©s, diagnoses, or the masks we wear. They respond to authenticity, presence, and connectionā€”and in doing so, they often help people discover those things within themselves.

Iā€™m so grateful to be part of these moments and excited to see where this program goes from here. šŸ’™

Today was launch day. šŸ“šŸ’™

After months of dreaming, planning, training, creating materials, and preparingā€¦ today we officially launched Hopeologyā€™s Equine Assisted Psychotherapy program.

And, of course, Mother Nature decided to keep us on our toes. šŸŒ”ļøāš” We had extreme heat, followed by a severe thunderstorm. Because apparently every good launch deserves a little drama!

But the weather didnā€™t stop us.

The horses showed up exactly as they always do, with patience, curiosity, and an incredible ability to meet people exactly where they are. They were absolute superstars today!

Our very first clients walked away with meaningful insights, genuine moments of connection, and experiences that simply couldnā€™t have happened within four office walls.

Watching this work unfold in real time reminded me why I fell in love with equine-assisted therapy in the first place. Itā€™s experiential. Itā€™s powerful. And itā€™s such a privilege to witness.

Today was sweaty, muddy, unpredictableā€¦ and absolutely worth every minute.

Wellā€¦todayā€™s ride didnā€™t exactly happen. šŸ“

I brought my horse in to groom and tack up after letting her run free in the arena, only to realize she had lost a shoe and was acting a little sore. Instead of riding, today became a call to the farrier and a change of plans.

At first, I was disappointed but then I realized the change in plans wasnā€™t a bad thing after all. Instead of focusing on the ride, I was able to slow down, spend a little extra time grooming her, and simply enjoy being present together.

It was a simple reminder that life doesnā€™t always go according to plan. We can get frustrated by the unexpected, or we can take a breath, pivot, and focus on whatā€™s needed in the moment.

Horses have a funny way of teaching us these lessons. Maybe thatā€™s part of what makes them such incredible partners in the healing process.

It also felt a little fittingā€¦because weā€™re officially ONE WEEK away from launching our Equine Assisted Psychotherapy program at Hopeology! šŸ¤

I canā€™t wait to begin this new chapter and watch the lessons that unfold alongside these amazing animals.
