Some of the most serious eye conditions damage your vision long before you'd notice a symptom. That's where OCT imaging comes in.
OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) uses light waves to capture a detailed, layer-by-layer map of your retina β revealing structural changes from glaucoma, macular degeneration, or diabetic retinopathy years before they'd otherwise cause noticeable vision problems. The scan itself is quick, painless, and doesn't usually require dilation.
It's one of the reasons routine eye exams matter, even when your vision feels totally fine.
