Since joining our mission in… 2015 (WOW) Delaney has been an invaluable part of our team.
Those who have served alongside her know that no matter how busy the day may be, she brings a steady presence, a kind heart, and a smile that helps keep everyone going. If you don’t believe us, see attached pictures 🙂‍↔️

Today, we celebrate not only her birthday, but also the many years of service and compassion she has shared with us. We are incredibly grateful for all that she does and for the difference she continues to make year after year.

Our hearts are so full after this June’s mission words can’t even describe it, so we thought we would share it thru pictures and their context:
1. The HH team with the equipment we were able to donate for the people of Tamagas
2. Sunday boat ride views in Rio Dulce
2. Nothing like a ride in the back of a pick up to get the full Guatemalan experience.
4. Another day another ear to clean
5. Hot, humid and rainy but with all the attitude to serve!
6. Something different- fluoride varnish for the kiddos.
7. Our wonderful kitchen staff.
8. Improvising toys to keep everyone happy :)

We are so proud to celebrate our very own pharmacist, Anna, who was just awarded the Northwestern Medicine 2026 Humanitarian Award for her work with Healing Hands Medical Mission! As the mission pharmacist, Anna is responsible for all things drug-related and provides plenty of patient education before sending patients off with their prescriptions! Congrats, Anna! We are so happy for you and proud to work with you!

Estamos muy orgullosos de celebrar a nuestra farmacéutica, Anna, quien acaba de recibir el Premio Humanitario 2026 de Northwestern Medicine por su labor en la Misión Médica Healing Hands. Como farmacéutica de la misión, Anna es responsable de todo lo relacionado con los medicamentos y brinda mucha información a los pacientes antes de entregarles sus recetas. ¡Felicidades, Anna! ¡Nos alegramos mucho por ti y estamos orgullosos de trabajar contigo!

Some highlights from our 2025 Mission! This year we held clinic exclusively at a more rural location in Tamagas. Because of this, we were able to reach significantly more Indigenous patients that we have in the past- many of home live in villages so remote there are no roads to get there.

We saw 600+ patients between medical and dental! Thank you for your continued support and prayers for this years mission!

¡Algunos momentos de nuestra Misión 2025! Este año la clínica estuvo exclusivamente en una zona rural de Tamagas. Gracias a esto, pudimos atender a muchos más pacientes indígenas que antes; muchos de ellos viven en aldeas tan remotas que no hay carreteras para llegar.

¡Atendimos a más de 600 pacientes, entre médicos y dentistas! ¡Gracias por su apoyo y oraciones por la misión de este año!

Today we saw over 170 patients today (without power!) with some traveling from as far away as 3 hours.

Our first day of clinic was a success! We saw over 160 patients today from all ages!
