From local roots to global retreats, the work continues to evolve, rooting i to a commitment to connection. The Evolution of a Heart-Centered Mission by Meg Lucks
Over the past decade, The Heart Revival has grown from a personal calling into a living, breathing community. Since 2011, my work has centered on creating spaces of belonging through meditation, sharing circles, and embodied practice. I
n 2017, this expanded into local mindfulness-based weekend retreats and the beginnings of international retreat offerings, rooted in intentional, sustainable travel that supports local communities, small businesses, and meaningful cultural exchange. That same year, I co-founded a top-rated Yoga Teacher Training School in collaboration with Healium Yoga MKE, deepening the pathway for others to teach and lead. When the vision of acquiring a retreat center did not come to fruition, a new expression emerged. In 2019, The Heart Revival Center for Belonging opened in St Francis, becoming a hub for compassionate gathering, practice, and support. Now, the mission is evolving once again. In June 2026, the physical space will transition to new stewardship as The Heart Center for Yoga with senior teacher Rachael Holmes, continuing its role as a place of practice and connection. In February 2027, international retreats will move into partnership with senior teacher Vanessa Weber of Soulflow Journeys, expanding their reach and impact. As these branches extend, The Heart Revival returns to its essence. It/ I am no longer rooted in one place, but moving with greater mobility, collaboration, and possibility. I will continue educating, leading sacred retreats, tending spaces and communities in new ways, allowing this work to be a direct reflection of a dreaming, evolving heart.
