One of the most frustrating things about shoulder pain is that it can feel completely random.
One day it's just a little tight. Then all of a sudden you're avoiding certain movements because you know it's going to hurt.
What a lot of people don't realize is that pain is usually the end result of a problem that's been building for a while.
Your body is really good at compensating.
If one muscle isn't pulling its weight, another muscle will step in and help. The problem is that those compensation patterns can only work for so long before something starts getting irritated.
That's why we don't just look at where it hurts.
We want to know why your body started compensating in the first place.
Because when you find that answer, that's when things start making a lot more sense.
