Moms are more resilient than men could ever…
But also, I’m a yoga teacher. So like, give yourself grace and take your time. But once you’re feeling balanced: girl, go after it. You deserve it!

2021 vs 2025
You know in relaxation or meditation techniques tell you to picture a place that feels peaceful. This is the literal space I’ve been going to in my head for years.
It feels like home to me. It was one of the first places that felt safe to me after a scary separation. It’s the place I dreamt week after week of what would come next. It was my space of solitude and serenity.
Taking Brinley to this sacred spot last summer was a memory that will live with me forever. And I’m so excited to share it with her again in a few short days!
Something tells me that it won’t be as quiet this time. Won’t be as peaceful. But still every little bit like home.
With breath and bravery,
✨ Kirsten

Excuse me while I get teary eyed for a moment. It’s not quite Brinley’s birthday, but somehow I’m nearly 2 years postpartum.
I look back on that first picture of me right after I found out I was pregnant, and it’s hard to recognize her. Motherhood has changed me in so many ways. And although there’s a me still inside there, she has shifted.
9 months growing a human
3 days of labor
3 months of physical therapy
19 months of breastfeeding
and countless days relearning who I am
My journey into motherhood didn’t come anywhere near my Plan A. It’s not how I pictured it. I’ve had to rewrite it more times than I can count. It comes with pain and grief. But a sense of empowerment that I continue to show up for myself and my daughter the best I know how.
Motherhood has taught me more grace and patience than I knew possible, it’s made me softer and more fun at times, but more strong-willed and protective at other times.
I’ve fought very hard to get to where I am, and I’m feeling incredibly blessed and proud lately of the peaceful home and adventurous life I’m building for us.
I’m so grateful for the amazing support I’ve received through the past two years from my closest friends and family. You have shown me a greater love and compassion than I’ve ever known!
And thank you for each of you who have stepped room in my yoga space in the past two years, trusting my work during your journey to motherhood while I navigate my own.
With breath and bravery,
❤️ Kirsten

I believe as a yoga teacher, one of my most important roles is to hold space. And in a prenatal class, that space is open for SO many mixed emotions, changing landscapes week to week, and intimate moments.
I show up not to make money (because let’s be honest, at this point I’m not) but to show you that you don’t have to do this alone. Motherhood….life.
There’s space for you here 🫶
