There is something incredibly grounding about driving out to meet a family that has reached out for help. ❤️

Recently, a family found me online and reached out for a lymphedema consultation. Getting to drive out to their home, meet them where they are, and offer a helping hand is exactly why I do this.

Navigating a chronic condition like lymphedema can be overwhelming and exhausting. That’s why my initial consultations virtual or in-person are entirely free—it’s my favorite way to give back to a community that deserves answers and a clear path forward without barriers.

Stepping into someone’s home is a unique honor. To be welcomed into a family's private space and trusted as a voice for their care is a privilege that I'll never take lightly.

Sometimes, the best care starts with simply showing up, listening, and letting a family know they don't have to figure it all out alone. 🌟

What an incredible week volunteering at Camp Watchme! 🪵✨

While camp is full of classic summer fun, talent shows, and campfires, it’s also a powerful reminder of why specialized care matters. Many of these amazing kids are navigating the daily challenges of living with primary lymphedema.

At The Swell Spot, my mission is to provide the highest standard of evidence-based lymphatic and wound care. Spending the week helping these campers master their self-care routines, night garments, and management strategies—all while they just got to be kids—was incredibly rewarding.
