Doyle Gubler Fuller was born on June 2nd, 1938 in La Verkin, UT to Luther Carlos and Rosalba
Gubler Fuller. He grew up working hard in the orchards of his beloved southern Utah, and was
molded and shaped by his family, including his loving, faithful uncles. His early years taught him
to have a work ethic and love for the gospel that would be a key part of who he was and how he
would serve the Lord and his family.

In 1958, he was called to serve in the United States East Central States mission. Throughout
his life, he had dreamt of a wedding picture of himself with a woman with no face. While serving
as a missionary in Harlan, KY, he met Anna Sue Cain while teaching her family. When he
dreamed again, the missing face was filled in and he knew the Lord had led him to his eternal
companion. Once he completed his mission, they were married on September 1st, 1961.
In 1963, Doyle graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Recreational
Management and took a job with the Boy Scouts of America. Later, owned his own construction
company and had a successful career with AT&T. During his life, his career and his desire to
serve the Lord sent him to live in many places, including Utah, Nevada, Kentucky, Missouri,
Colorado, and Georgia.

During their married life, Doyle and Anna were blessed with five children who were the focus
and pride of their lives and he took seriously the responsibility to teach them to work and to
understand the gospel. He...

It’s a common misconception that choosing cremation means choosing not to hold a service. On the contrary, when planning for cremation, don’t skip the service.

A full funeral service may be held prior to cremation with the body present in a casket. A memorial service or celebration of life may also be held prior to or after cremation.

Services channel broad community support, allowing friends and neighbors the opportunity to pay their respects to the deceased and to the family.

We’re your funeral and cremation experts. Contact us at (435) 986-2085.

Marlene (Humphries) Bunker left her loving husband Clive and their earthly home in St. George, Utah on Saturday morning August 8, 2026, to return to her Heavenly parents and rejoin her earthly parents, Willard and Emmarene (Staheli) Humphries, her brother DeLaun, her nephew Jason, a great niece Elizabeth Hartshorn and Brother-in-law George Robert "Bob" Smith, who preceded her in death.

Marlene was born in St. George, Utah on February 27, 1956. She grew up in Enterprise Utah in a loving home including 4 brothers and 1 sister. She attended Enterprise Schools and graduated from Enterprise High school in 1974. She also attended SUSC for a short time.

Marlene was born with a few health problems that made growing up a little difficult, but she didn't let that stop her. She always had a smile on her face and tried to make everyone happy. Especially her mom as they developed a close relationship. Up to the time she married, she helped her mom take care of her hair as she set it in curlers each week for her!

Many happy hours were spent as a family as they spent time together sharing fun and laughter, whether in Enterprise or on the family farm.

Marlene served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Iowa Des Moines Mission from October 1981 to March 1983. She loved her mission and loved to share stories and experiences she had while serving in Iowa. She had many companions whom she loved and cherished, but she held a...

Jess N. Hunsaker, a longtime friend of the community passed away on August 8, 2026,
in St. George, Utah surrounded by his family and close friends. The world not only lost a
great husband and father, but a funny guy that could weave the best jokes and stories.
Quite frankly, he was a master storyteller. People were naturally drawn to Jess as he
was a professional care giver, protector and made everyone feel as though they were a
priority in his life.

Jess was born, September 5, 1936, in Malad, Idaho as the first and only son to Ivan
Hunsaker and Isabelle Noble. At the time of Jess’s arrival, his parents were dairy and
cattle farmers and their farm would define dad’s youth and some of his biggest
shenanigans.

In the fall of 1956 Jess attended Utah State University. In 1958, Jess graduated from
the California College of Mortuary Science. Jess was a boxer in the ROTC and enjoyed
being connected to college activities involving dancing, socializing and spreading his
charm to his fellow students.

On July 25 th , 1963, Jess married Brigitte Buckway in Ogden, Utah. They enjoyed 63
years of marriage. They were each other’s best friends, confidants and partners in
crime. As said many times by Brigitte, “It wasn’t always easy, but it certainly was always
fun.” Together they traveled the world, loved cruising, golfing, boating and fishing. And
while dad didn’t like to admit it, mother was the best clay pigeon shot in the family.
Playing cards was a frequent...

Grief isn’t only about the day they left…
It’s about all the days after.

The mornings you wake up and remember all over again.
The afternoons when something reminds you of them
and knocks the wind out of you.
The nights that feel too quiet because
their voice isn’t there.

It’s not one loss…it’s thousands of little losses
scattered through everyday life.
And each one carries its own ache.

So if you wonder why grief feels endless…
it’s because love was endless.
And love this deep doesn’t disappear -
it lingers, it echoes, it stays.

Kenneth Lewis Kindorf, age 91, passed away peacefully at his daughter's home in St. George, Utah on August 1, 2026. In his later years, Ken lived with vascular dementia, a challenge he faced with quiet dignity while being lovingly cared for by his family. He moved from Woodinville, Washington with his daughter and son-in-law to the St. George area in 2024.

Ken was born on July 15, 1935, in San Francisco, California, to Harry Lewis Kindorf and Mabel Delicia (Byford) Kindorf. He joined his older brother Harry Donal, who was five years his senior. Ken spent the first ten years of his life in San Francisco, where he enjoyed an idyllic childhood filled with neighborhood friends, bicycle adventures, and endless boyhood explorations. His favorite childhood memories were the summers he spent with his cousins and Grandfather at the family cabin on Kidd Creek in Cazadero, California. His family later moved to Oakland, California, where he spent the remainder of his childhood and young adult years. His extended family was exceptionally close, and his cousins remained among the greatest joys of his life. That love for family never faded, and throughout his life he made a point of keeping in touch with everyone.

Ken met the love of his life, Kay (Brown) in junior high school. They remained part of the same circle of friends throughout their years at Piedmont High School in Oakland, although they didn't begin dating until several years after graduation. When...
