💙 Happy National Nurses Week! 💙

This week we’re proud to recognize and celebrate Laken Rains, RN, Director of Health Services, for the compassion, dedication, and energy she brings to our team.

Laken began her healthcare journey in 2020 as a CNA with Avamere, where she quickly discovered her passion for caring for others. Working during COVID helped shape her belief in whole-person care understanding that connection, compassion, and companionship are just as important as clinical skills.

Since then, she has gained incredible experience across hospitals, hospice care, and emergency services, even volunteering as a firefighter. Each step of Laken’s journey has strengthened her commitment to teamwork, education, and empowering others in their health and wellness.

Now serving our residents here in St. Helens, Laken is passionate about providing holistic, person-centered care and helping every individual feel heard, supported, respected, and valued.

Thank you, Laken, for your heart, your dedication, and the difference you make every single day. We are so grateful to have you as part of our Avamere team! 💙
