A huge thank you to the REOlds foundation for their support! This grant will go a long way in helping build the playground our kids deserve and will enjoy for years to come! I am beyond grateful to be a part of this wonderful time.

SJPS was awarded a $5,000 grant from the R.E. Olds Foundation for the St. Johns Early Learning Center! The grant will be used to help fund the pour-in-place rubber surfacing for the Early Learning Center playground. The community is cordially invited to attend the grand opening of the Little Wings Early Learning Center on Thursday, August 27, 2026, from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Again, we would like to express our sincere appreciation to the R.E. Olds Foundation for their generous donation!

Due to a power outage, Little Wings will need to close our doors early today at our East Olive location. Please make arrangements to have your child picked up as soon as possible. Please join me in saying goodbye to two of the most amazing staff we have had.
Mia was one of my first hires when I started three years ago. She came in as a caregiver and quickly became a full-time, dependable staff members. When a Lead position opened up in the infant room, Mia stepped up to the challenge. Mia had been a calm, steady presence to all the children and staff when needed and was always willing to help out wherever she was needed. She was even making enrollment calls for us her last two weeks.
Destanie has given a decade of her life dedicated to Little Wings and Adventure Club families. She is one of the most caring, hardworking people I know. Since the day I took over this program, Destanie has been my right-hand, my go-to, the other half of my brain. This program would not be what it is today without her input, her advocacy, her dedication to early childhood.
Mia & Destanie, you will be missed ❤️

Strong Beginnings 3 Year Old Preschool is Expanding!
MiLEAP has announced the expansion of the Strong Beginnings program, bringing free, high-quality early learning opportunities to even more 3-year-olds across the state including new classrooms in Clinton County.

In partnership with Clinton County RESA, Strong Beginnings provides play-based learning, certified early childhood educators and family supports that help children build the language, literacy, social-emotional and early learning skills they need for kindergarten and beyond.

Summer Adventure Club Families: Tomorrow, Thursday June 18th, is our first field trip!!! Please make sure to have your children at the school BEFORE 9am. We do NOT leave any staff behind, so if you miss the bus, there will be no care provided for the day. We plan to be back to the school by 4pm. I will be updating our ETA via Procare as we leave to head back. If you have a blue Adventure Club shirt from previous years, please plan to wear that tomorrow. If you have a different light blue shirt that you like to wear tomorrow, that is acceptable. I will have all of the Adventure Club shirts that we have available at the school tomorrow morning before we leave. We will pass out shirts to those who need one and collect them back after we return to wash for next week. We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow morning!
