Mack Lee Webster, age 75, of St. Johns, MI, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2026, at University of Michigan Health-Sparrow Lansing, Lansing, MI.
A Celebration of life will be held at 3536 East Walker Road, St. Johns, MI, 48879, on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 3:00 P.M.
Mack was born in St. Johns, MI on July 20, 1951, the son of Glenn and Marjorie Lois (Taylor) Webster. He was raised on the Webster family farm and graduated from Ovid-Elsie High School with the class of 1969. Mack then married Nancy Paksi and together they raised 3 children and started his career of small business ownership. Mack owned and operated: Webster Tire, The Bug Shop (for his love of Volkswagon Beetles), Mid-Michigan Realty and Construction and later owned Miller's Tavern in Fowler. Mack enjoyed fishing and camping at the pit with family and friends. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and enjoyed spending time outdoors. Later in life, his Harley was his choice of transportation for his scenic adventures, he loved to travel.
He is survived by his loving children: Andrea Webster and Michael McNeely of Sheridan, MI; Erika Webster and Josh Thompson of St. Johns, MI; and Charles and Hellenna Webster of St. Johns, MI, their mother Nancy Webster of St. Johns, MI, grandchildren: Holden Darnell, Kendahl Smeltzer, Ava and Collin Behrendt, Mackenna Darnell, Charles Webster, Jr. and many great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings: Jim and Lassie Webster, Lynn and Joanne Webster, Debbie and Paul Hebeler, Sandy Williams, Lori Webster and Cheryl Carlson, sister-in-law Cathy Webster and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Larry Webster, nephew Wayne Webster and niece Jamie Thorpe.

Patricia Billy "Pat" Jury, age 87, of Perrinton, MI, passed away Friday, August 28, 2026, at Laurels of Fulton, Perrinton, MI.
A Private Graveside Service will be held at Rose Cemetery, Bath Twp., MI.
Patricia was born in Prosperity, West Virginia on March 30, 1939, the daughter of Fielden and Ruth (Taylor) Hagy.
Pat retired from Oldsmobile. She loved flowers, working in her flower gardens and her favorite color was pink. Pat enjoyed doing word searches. She was a caregiver at heart and her family was the most important part of her life. Pat was a wonderful cook and she loved to cook dinner for all her family.
She is survived by her sons: Matthew and Mary Averill of Hemlock, MI; Robert and Michelle Averill of Fowler, MI; Ed and Tonya Jury of Perry, MI; Paul Jury of Lansing, MI; and Bruce Jury of Holt, MI; her grandchildren: Aaron Averill, Rebekah (Brendan) Dunn, Abigail Averill, Hannah Averill, Rachael Averill, Bradley (Michelle) Averill, Cody Averill, Allison (Nick) Thelen, and Ryan (Sarah) Fandel; her great-grandchildren: Miles, Madison, Easton, Isabelle, and Evelyn; many nieces and nephews. Nathaniel Cliffton Hill, age 45, of Ovid, MI, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Ovid Healthcare Senior Care Home, Ovid, MI.
A celebration of life will be held at Grove Bible Church, St. Johns, MI, on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. . Burial will take place at Riverdale Cemetery, Riverdale, MI at a later date.
Nathan was born in Jackson, Michigan on August 16, 1980, the son of Douglas F. and Linda Lee (Vanhorn) Hill. He graduated from St. Johns High School with the class of 1998. Nathan worked for Peckham in Lansing for 22 years where he worked on the computer making clothing tags for military and police uniforms. He made many lifelong friends through work. Nathan was a computer whiz who enjoyed working on his 3D printer. He was also a big Star Trek fan and was a devoted train buff. Nathan actively participated with Grove Bible Church of St. Johns online. He was loved by many and will be remembered for his gentle heart and radiant smile.

Judy Ann Kramer, age 84, of Pewamo, MI, passed away Monday, August 24, 2026, at Country Living Senior Care of Pewamo.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Pewamo, MI, at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 29, 2026, with Rev. Fr. Darrel Kempf presiding. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 28, 2026, from 2-8 P.M. with the family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes - Goerge Chapel, 11112 West Ionia Street, Fowler, MI 48835. A Rosary will be prayed on Friday at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Pewamo, MI at a later date.
Judy was born in Lowell, MI on May 19, 1942, the daughter of John and Margaret (Casper) Koewers. She graduated from Lowell High School. On June 25, 1966, Judy married H. David Kramer in Lowell, MI. Judy was a secretary at Schafer Heating for 20 years. She loved antiques and was in the antique business for over 50 years and did antique appraisals for many years. She also ran the Ionia Antique and Collectable Market for 10 years. Judy baked cakes for her family and friends in the community for weddings and birthdays. She was an avid card player. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Pewamo, MI.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years H. David Kramer of Pewamo, MI; her children: Brian and London Kramer of Avon, IN; Greg Kramer and Jeff Jackson of New York, NY; and Denise Kramer of St. Johns, MI; her grandchildren: Will and Stacey Kramer of Indianapolis, IN; Caleb Kramer of Columbus, IN; and Zack Kramer of Indianapolis, IN; cousins: Marlene Koewers of Wyoming, MI; Dale and Jan Hansen of Lowell, MI; and Joni Jilek of Grand Rapids, MI; and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at Fulton Township Hall, Fulton Twp., MI, on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at 1:00 P.M.
Althea was born September 19, 1954, in Ithaca, New York the daughter of Curtis Farman and Althea Bott. She was the beloved spouse of Douglas C. Powell of 31 years. She was the mother of 3 children: Trinity Dallas Donley, Amberlyn Plath, and Aimee Seaman. She gained 2 bonus children: Gerritt Powell, and Ryan Powell after the marriage to her best friend, Doug, in South Bend, IN.
Althea grew up in Michigan, moving from various places until she settled in the Ithaca/Perrinton area and remained for the past 32 years. She dedicated her life to her family, grandchildren, and helping others no matter the circumstances. She was a loving mother who taught compassion, respect, empathy, and many other amazing values that will never be forgotten.
Althea especially enjoyed fishing, anywhere, anytime. Her and Doug loved to take many adventures, long drives, spending time with their grandchildren, and trips to Tennessee and South Carolina. They were inseparable right up to the end.

Karen Lee Vanderlin, age 83, of St. Johns, MI, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2026, at University of Michigan Health-Sparrow Lansing, Lansing, MI after a long illness.

Karen was born in Hastings, MI on September 4, 1942, the daughter of Walter and Verdie (Crawley) Sinclair. She was a graduate of Hastings High School. Karen married Peter Vanderlin on March 1, 1986, in St. Johns, MI. Karen retired from Sundance in St. Johns as a Parts Manager. She enjoyed doing crafts and was very talented in all different types of crafting. Karen and Peter enjoyed camping together. Karen was an active member of the St. Johns American Legion Post 153 Auxiliary since 1976, serving as a past Secretary and Treasurer.

Wayne Eldon Cox, age 71, of Middleton, MI, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2026.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Wayne was born in Lansing, MI on June 27, 1955, the son of Edwin Curtis and Phyllis (Parker) Cox. He married Michelle Lee Keener on December 8, 1973 in DeWitt, MI.
Wayne honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. He retired from the military as a Staff Sergeant after 23 years. Working with the military, local law enforcement and the U.S. Postal Service Wayne served on the Counter Drug Program for 3-4 years. He enjoyed woodworking, building things and working with his hands around their home. Wayne also enjoyed camping but spending time with his family brought him the greatest joy. Wayne was a member of the Elsie American Legion Post 502.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years Michelle Cox of Middleton, MI; son Wayne T. Betty June Reeves, age 81, of Ithaca, MI, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at her home.
Per Betty’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and no services are to be held at this time.
Betty was born in North Star, MI on October 26, 1944, the daughter of Frank Burch and Goldie (Wood) Burch. She graduated from Ithaca High School with the class of 1963. She was a Pharmacy Technician at K-Mart for many years before her retirement. She was beloved by coworkers and customers alike.
Betty lived for her family. She was the kind of person to always show up for everyone: taking them to doctor's appointments, attending sporting events and recitals, or just showing up with some fresh baked cookies and peanut brittle. She was fiercely independent too. No one could ever tell her how to live her life, or how to mow her lawn. She was a spitfire with a heart of gold.
When she wasn’t spending time with her family, you could often find her at home relaxing on the couch with a cold Coke and a bag of Lay’s chips, watching a good western, true-crime show, or court room tv. It was in those simple, quiet moments that she was most content, comfortable at home, and enjoying the little things.
Betty was a proud mother and grandmother. She celebrated every achievement they ever made, and was their biggest cheerleader throughout her life.
She is survived by her daughters: Tonia (Dennis) Kequom and Kendra (Joseph Porter) Hoyt; her grandchildren: Kyle (Emily) Reeves, Brad Reeves, Jessica Brock, Tehya (Jared Allen) Anguiano, Rylee (Zach) Foesz, Hunter Kequom, Caleb Kequom, Andrew Kequom, and Adyn Hoyt; great-grandchildren: Wyatt and Waverly Foesz, and Atlas Allen; her siblings: Sally Martin, Jerry Martin, Daun (David) Longanbach, Don (Sherida) Burch, and Helen Hoard.
