🎉 Exciting News for CMNEK!

The Children’s Museum of the Northeast Kingdom is thrilled to announce that we have been awarded $5,000 from the Vermont Community Foundation’s 2026 Northeast Kingdom Fund!

This grant will support Early Learners Discovery Days: Opening Doors to STEAM Learning Across the Northeast Kingdom, helping us expand hands-on opportunities for young children to explore, create, experiment, and learn through play.

For families in our rural communities, access to high-quality, play-based learning opportunities close to home matters. Since opening our doors in February, families from communities across the Northeast Kingdom and beyond have shown us just how much this resource is needed.

We are incredibly grateful to the Vermont Community Foundation and the Northeast Kingdom Fund for believing in our young museum and investing in the children and families of our region.

ST. JOHNSBURY — On the anniversary of its seventh month in operation, the Children’s Museum of the Northeast Kingdom on Tuesday launches a $100,000 year-long capital campaign.
