🌿 Food & Mood: What’s Fueling Your Mental Health? 🌿
Have you ever taken a moment to really look at your diet—not from judgment, but from curiosity?
What you eat doesn’t just impact your body… it directly affects your mind.
🧠 Did you know?
About 90% of serotonin (your “feel good” neurotransmitter) is produced in the gut. That means your gut health plays a major role in mood, anxiety, energy, and emotional balance.
🥬 Gut health matters:
Probiotics (healthy bacteria) help support your gut and can be found in foods like yogurt, kefir, sauerkraut, kimchi, and kombucha.
Prebiotics (which feed that good bacteria) include foods like garlic, onions, bananas, oats, and asparagus.
✨ When your gut is supported, your mood often follows.
💭 Reflection:
When is the last time you evaluated how your eating habits impact how you feel emotionally?
