Mosaic Life Care is proud to partner with Mid-City Excellence to offer Kids in the Kitchen healthy cooking classes. Led by Kayla and Bailey, these hands-on classes teach kids how to make nutritious meals and snacks while learning the importance of healthy eating habits.
From chopping veggies to tasting their delicious creations, the kids had a blast discovering that healthy food can be fun and tasty too!

Kayla and Bailey had a fantastic time this week during Kids in the Kitchen: Smoothie Week, helping young chefs mix up delicious, nutritious smoothies while learning how fruits, vegetables, and other healthy ingredients fuel their bodies!

Kayla and Bailey had a fantastic time at the Canned Film Festival helping kids and families learn how to stay safe while enjoying summer fun by spinning the prize wheel to answering sun safety questions, everyone had a chance to learn about wearing sunscreen,.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to play, learn, and say hello! We also appreciate everyone who brought canned food donations to Second Harvest to support our community. Together, we’re making summer safer, healthier, and a little more fun!

🍓👩‍🍳 Snack time just got a whole lot healthier! 🍎🥒

Our Kids in the Kitchen crew had a blast at Minnie Cline Elementary with K–2 students, whipping up tasty, healthy snacks and learning that nutritious foods can be fun to make and even more fun to eat!

From mixing and creating to tasting their delicious creations, these young chefs were all smiles as they explored new foods.

Way to go, Minnie Cline Elementary! Thanks for letting us cook, learn, and have fun with you. 💚

Kayla and Bailey talked with the kids about how these habits can hurt our lungs and keep us from being our healthiest selves. The 4th graders did an awesome job learning how to make smart, healthy choices for their future! 💪💙

Sugar and weight Management Week! 🍎

This week in the 4th Grade Challenge, Kayla and Bailey helped students become sugar detectives! 🕵️‍♂️🕵️‍♀️ The kids searched for hidden sugars in their favorite foods and drinks and were amazed at what they found! 🥤🍪

They also learned how keeping a healthy weight isn’t about diets—it’s about fueling your body with good foods and staying active every day. 💪💃 Small changes can lead to big results for a healthy, happy life!

Our 4th Grade Challenge students celebrated their hard work and achievements with a week full of fun, laughter, and inspiration. We even had some special guests drop by — KC Wolf and Rally brought big energy and smiles to the celebration! 🐺💫
