💙 A HUGE THANK YOU TO MARTIN’S SUPER MARKETS! 💙

We are incredibly grateful to Martin's Supermarkets for their incredibly generous donation to our annual Watermark Golf Classic, benefiting the Children’s Advocacy Center of Southwest Michigan! ⛳️🏌️‍♀️

Thanks to Martin’s generosity, we were able to feed nearly 300 golfers and volunteers at this year’s event! Your support helped make the day possible and allowed us to focus on what matters most, bringing our community together to support children and families. ❤️

And we want to give an extra-special shout-out to Callahan! Callahan went above and beyond to help make this donation happen for us. Without Callahan’s help, generosity, and willingness to advocate for our event, this would not have been possible. We are truly grateful for the time and effort Callahan put into making sure we could provide a meal for 300 people!

And of course, a huge thank-you to Renee and the entire Martin’s team for supporting our mission and helping make the Watermark Golf Classic such a success!

Every dollar raised at the Watermark Golf Classic helps the Children’s Advocacy Center provide critical services FREE of charge to children and families in our community who have experienced abuse. Your partnership directly helps us continue this important work. 💙

Thank you, Martin’s, for helping us FORE the children! ⛳️💙

Child abuse statistics are heartbreaking. 💔

But organizations like the Children's Advocacy Center of Southwest Michigan are here to help.

The Children's Advocacy Center (CAC) provides child abuse prevention education to an estimated 13,000 kids each year. 💡

Victim services help children recover from trauma, connecting them to the medical and mental health services they need. 💙

The CAC takes steps to make processes smoother, helping reduce the number of interviews the children must participate in to create the case while offering compassion and support during an incredibly stressful time. 🧸

Team United was proud to volunteer and attend the annual Voices for Children Gala, raising money to support the important services that the Children's Advocacy Center of Southwest Michigan provides to our community.

It was an inspiring and beautiful night and we're grateful to be able to support the CAC.

What an incredible evening at our annual Voices for Children fundraiser last Friday! We are especially grateful to our Presenting Sponsors, the McLoughlin Family Foundation and Debra and Jay Craig, whose generous support helped make it possible.

Our event was made even more special as we celebrated our award recipients:

Multidisciplinary Team Members of the Year: Sarah Grimes, Kelly Anderson, and Kacee Dochenetz
Community Member of the Year: Abbie Benfield

Guests enjoyed having their portraits drawn in the meadow by talented local portrait artists, including Bob Williams, Chad Eckersley, Lily Ware, Matt Payovich, Samuel Adkins, and Zech Ray. Check out the pictures!

A huge thank you to CK Catering, Southwest Michigan for keeping everyone well-fed, Full of Crepe for adding a delicious touch, Pour Choices Weddings & Events for serving our guests, and DJ Bill for the amazing entertainment and music! We are incredibly grateful to The Boardwalk for providing such a beautiful venue. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting.

And a special thank you to our auctioneer, Brian Maynard from Forte Coffee, whose quick wit and incredible auctioneering skills made it so much fun!

We also want to give a huge shoutout to the United Federal Credit Union volunteers, along with all of our incredible volunteers, board and committee members, and staff who gave their time and energy to help make the evening a success.

Thank you to everyone who attended, sponsored, volunteered, celebrated, and helped make our Voices for Children Fundraiser such a memorable night.

🎨 Artist Spotlight: Meet the Talented Artists of Voices for Children! 🎨

At this year's Voices for Children, we're thrilled to feature talented local artists who are generously donating their time and creativity to support the children we serve. Throughout the event, guests will have the opportunity to purchase a custom portrait experience, with each artist creating a one-of-a-kind commissioned piece. A portion of every portrait commission will be donated to the Children's Advocacy Center (CAC), helping provide hope, healing, and justice for children who have experienced abuse and neglect.

We're excited to introduce featured artist Robert R. Williams!

Robert R. Williams has called the St. Joseph area home for most of the past 50 years. Originally from Northeast Ohio and raised in Northwest Pennsylvania near the shores of Lake Erie, Bob retired from Whirlpool in 2001 and turned his lifelong passion for art into a full-time career.

Although he holds a degree in electrical engineering rather than formal art training, Bob has honed his craft through years of studio classes and workshops. His love for portraiture began in a seventh-grade art class and has remained the focus of his work ever since.

Bob is one of the founding members of the Box Factory for the Arts in St. Joseph, where he has maintained a studio and taught portrait classes for more than 25 years. His work has earned numerous honors, including purchase awards at the Midwest Museum Juried Regional, first-place awards in the Michigan Artist Annual Competition at the Box Factory for the Arts, several regional Best of Show awards, and acceptance into a national exhibition of the Pastel Society of America.

We're honored to have Bob as one of our featured artists at Voices for Children. If you've ever wanted a custom portrait created by an accomplished local artist, this is your chance! Your commissioned portrait will become a treasured keepsake while helping support the Children's Advocacy Center and the vital services it provides to children and families.
