Momma's! A breech baby does NOT automatically a Cesarean Section. It just means baby needs a little help moving into position. I have recently had 2 mom's come to me with breech babies and in both cases this (and other bodywork/movement to release restrictions in their body) turned baby head down.
This should not be done alone! Make sure you have assistance and once baby turns, stop doing this movement.
A forward-leaning inversion is designed to stretch uterine ligaments, relieve pelvic tension, and help a baby move into an optimal head-down position for birth.
Reach out if you would like to schedule a consultation for a sweet little baby who is mal-positioned. This movement will help, but most times we also need to look at other body work, posture, stretches, etc. to keep your little one in an optimal position.
