Such an awesome gathering of great folks. Solid representation from and among so many others.

TL/DR
I coulda sworn the race started at 10 (It started at 9). 😆 Started late. Solo start to finish. After partied 🙌

I rolled into Northfield at 9:05, thinking I had plenty of time to get dressed, download the route, bop around and visit with folks… for the 10am start, right?

I was lucky enough to see near my car, who told me the 60-mile ride just left. I made a really confused face, made sure he wasn’t joking, hurried back to my car, got properly dressed, threw my water bottles on the bike, and hurried to the start line to sign in.

After accidentally downloading the 2025 route, I blasted off only to find that construction had forced a new route for 2026. The lesson? Read the emails!!! So I went back to the start line and decided I would race the 30, which ACTUALLY departed at 10am. Once I got there, however, I got some help from and to get the current 60-mile route loaded. 🙏

And so, at 9:42, I was off! I soloed for quite a bit before I caught the back of the race… and decided to just solo my way to the finish. I skipped the church pit stop which allowed me to catch some of my favorite people along the way.

Had. A. Blast.

So good to see so many familiar faces along the route and at the after party.

Ran into along the way, supporting his boys. The first 2 📸 are his. 🫶

Thanks to everyone who said hi, to the GO Riders, and to Marty, and (missed seeing ya, my friend) for running such a smooth show.
