25 years have passed. While we get caught up in the day to day, each year on this day, we remember.
Those who went without knowing they’d never return.
The events reinforced preparedness, planning and communication. We’ve carried those learnings with us through the years in every day responses and through a pandemic.
It also reinforced that tomorrow is not promised. We will never forget.

Labor Day! Can’t’ believe how the summer has flown by. Today, we take a moment to recognize the teams that work to care for our communities. Appreciate the members of IAEP R7-167, our educators, leaders and administrative team who help us meet our mission each day in addition to our community partners.

We are extremely grateful for the amazing support from our community! City Hall Creamery and Coffee in Jordan was gracious enough to donate delicious ice cream for all of our Communication Center staff. They even provided extra vouchers so our team can enjoy some sweet treats down the road.

Our Comm Center staff wants to send a huge THANK YOU to City Hall Creamery and Coffee for keeping us cool and treating us during those hot summer days.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the death of longtime paramedic and current EMS Inventory Technician Chuck Brady.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Chuck’s family, friends, and the lives he's impacted over his years of service to our communities.

Chuck joined Allina Heath EMS in 2009 when we began serving the Apple Valley-Lakeville-Farmington area. He started his career with Bloomington Rescue and served for several years as a volunteer firefighter with Apple Valley Fire.

Since learning this news, we have been in contact with Chuck's family and post this with their permission. We will share service details when available and with his family's permission.

We encourage anyone experiencing mental health issues to reach out for help, the most accessible being the 988 Su***de and Crisis Lifeline, available 24/7/365.

This is a difficult time for all of us at Allina Health EMS, but as we do during tough situations, we come together and support one another. Resources have been and will continue to be available to our team.

We appreciate the support from those who have reached out and the memories and stories about Chuck that have been shared.

You will see flags at our bases at half-mast and team members wearing mourning bands.

Please take care of each other.

In 2011, as we moved into our North Metro Base, we were gifted with a wall of art created by Chief of EMS Brian LaCroix (since retired). The theme, the history of EMS.
Johnny & Roy have been watching over our celebrations, our new employee academies, and other gatherings. Emergency! was the first in depth portrayal of EMS, inspiring many to join this profession and garnered a place in the timeline.
Tonight, we honor the legacy of Randolph (Randy) Mantooth. Rest in Peace, Johnny Gage. We've got it from here.
