Post 1/3:
If you have time to scroll on your phone, you have time for that thing, project, or activity you’ve been putting off.
The idea isn’t to shame yourself — it’s to notice where your energy is actually going. Because most of the time, it’s not a lack of time… it’s a delay in choosing yourself. Those small dreams, the creative ideas, the body that wants to move, stretch, create, rest — they don’t disappear, they just get quieter the longer we ignore them.
And the same goes for your body.
I tell my clients this all the time — it’s not about doing what you see on Instagram or trying to build some perfect routine you can’t maintain. It’s about working with the life you already have and building from there. Healing, movement, and self-care don’t have to be big, aesthetic, or time-consuming to be effective. They just have to be short, consistent and real for you.
Because when it becomes realistic for your lifestyle, it becomes something you actually return to. And that’s where change happens — not in intensity, but in consistency.
And the same principle applies to healing and bodywork. It’s not about waiting until you’re in pain or completely overwhelmed to finally take care of yourself. It’s about staying connected to your body along the way, so you don’t reach that point of burnout or disconnection in the first place. Your body is always communicating — and the more you learn to listen in small, everyday ways, the less it has to scream later.
Healing and bodywork aren’t “luxuries” you get to when everything else is done — they’re maintenance for your nervous system, your stress, your emotions, your ability to stay grounded in your life. So many people wait until they’re overwhelmed, burnt out, or in pain to finally listen to their body… when really, the body has been speaking all along.
We push off what we know supports us, what we know feels good, what we know brings us back home to ourselves — and then wonder why we feel disconnected, tense, or like we’re constantly catching up to life instead of living it.
Don’t wait until it becomes too much. Your body doesn’t need to be at its limit to deserve care.
