Throughout the month, our Hoffmann team collected school supplies to help local students start the school year with confidence and the tools they need to succeed.

This week, Gretchen proudly represented Hoffmann by volunteering with the Friends of Learning Back to School Project, helping organize supplies and pack backpacks for students in need. Together, volunteers assembled an incredible 600 backpacks that will support local children and families as they head back to school!

A special shout-out to the Friends Of Learning Back to School Project, a collaborative effort between the Saint Peter Lions Club , Nicollet County MN, Minnesota Department of Human Services Careers, and The Salvation Army USA, for the tremendous work they do to support our community.

We're grateful to everyone who donated supplies and helped make this project a success. Wishing all students a wonderful school year filled with learning, growth, and opportunity! 💙

As families start preparing for a new school year, we're collecting school supplies to help local students head back to class with confidence! 📚✏️🎒

Want to help but need an affordable option? Every donation makes a difference!

**Easy, budget-friendly ways to give:**
✅ Pick up a few essentials during your regular shopping trip, such as notebooks, pencils, crayons, glue sticks, or folders.
✅ Donate a $5-$10 gift card to Walmart, Target, or Dollar Tree so we can purchase the items students need most.
✅ Grab school supplies from dollar stores where many needed items are available for just $1.25 each.
✅ Team up with friends, family, or coworkers and contribute a few items together.

Let's make sure every child has the tools they need for a successful school year! ❤️

💜 A Resource for Families This Back-to-School Season 💜

We love seeing our community come together to support students through school supply drives, but there are also some essential items that families may struggle to afford, especially after a summer of growth spurts and changing needs.

This week, while helping a client look for affordable options, we came across some wonderful resources for girls in need of sports bras and other basic essentials. Many local communities offer assistance programs, and in Waseca, families can receive vouchers to shop at the thrift store, where sports bras and new underwear are available.

We also found Bras for Girls, an organization that provides free sports bras to youth who need them. Families can apply directly, and bras are shipped to their home.
