🎉 Please join us in giving a warm GO Therapy welcome to our newest Occupational Therapist, Molli! 🎉

We are so excited to have Molli join our team and begin making a difference in the lives of the children and families we serve.

At GO Therapy, our Occupational Therapists help children build confidence, increase self-esteem, and develop independence in all the things they do every day. A child’s occupation is to play, learn, care for themselves, build friendships, succeed in school, regulate their emotions, and develop a positive sense of self.

Our Occupational Therapists provide evaluations and treatment for children whose challenges or delays may impact their ability to thrive in these important areas. Through meaningful, child-centered therapy, we help children develop the skills they need to reach their fullest potential.

Molli shares our passion for helping children grow, succeed, and shine, and we cannot wait to see the positive impact she will have on the families in our community.

Welcome to the GO Therapy family, Molli! We are so happy you're here! 😍

Self-regulation does not develop in isolation.
Children learn to regulate through relationships, safety, and connection first. 💛
Co-regulation is the foundation.
It happens when a trusted adult helps a child navigate big emotions, sensory overwhelm, stress, uncertainty, or changing demands through calm presence, attunement, and support.
This may look like:
✨ staying nearby
✨ validating emotions
✨ offering sensory supports
✨ reducing demands
✨ modeling calm breathing or problem solving
✨ helping organize feelings and experiences
Over time, repeated experiences of co-regulation help build the nervous system pathways needed for self-regulation.
Self-regulation is not simply “being calm” or “controlling behavior.”
It is the ability to notice internal needs, respond flexibly to stressors, recover from overwhelm, and use supports and strategies in meaningful ways.
And importantly — self-regulation fluctuates.
Capacity changes based on sleep, sensory load, emotional experiences, cognitive demands, physical health, environment, and connection.
A neurodiversity-affirming approach understands that regulation is not about compliance or forcing independence before a child is ready.
It is about creating environments and relationships where children feel safe enough to borrow regulation, build trust in themselves, and develop authentic, sustainable coping strategies over time. 🌱

Some days, a child can do hard things with ease.
Other days, the very same tasks may feel impossible.

That’s not laziness.
That’s not “noncompliance.”
That’s human variability. 💛

A neurodiversity-affirming lens reminds us that a child’s capacity is constantly influenced by many interacting factors, including:
✨ Sensory experiences and overwhelm
✨ Cognitive demands and processing load
✨ Emotional regulation and stress
✨ Sleep and rest
✨ Physiological needs like hunger, illness, pain, or fatigue
✨ Environment, transitions, expectations, and connection

Children do well when their nervous systems feel safe, supported, and understood. When capacity changes, our role is not to demand more compliance — it’s to become curious, flexible, and responsive.
Support might look like:
✔️ sensory adaptations
✔️ reduced demands
✔️ co-regulation
✔️ movement breaks
✔️ visual supports
✔️ rest
✔️ connection before expectations

Progress is not measured by how consistently a child performs under pressure.
Progress is measured by how supported, understood, and empowered they feel to participate in their world. 🌱
Thank you!

Occupational Therapy is society’s best kept secret, in our humble opinion.
Many people think OT is just about handwriting or fine motor skills, but the truth is… occupational therapists help people participate more fully in the things that make up everyday life.

For children, that can look like:
✨ Building confidence in play and learning
✨ Supporting emotional regulation and executive functioning
✨ Developing motor, sensory, and self-care skills
✨ Helping mealtimes feel safer and more successful
✨ Creating access to communication, connection, and independence
✨ Supporting participation at home, school, and in the community

OTs look beyond behaviors and focus on the “why.” They help us understand each child’s unique nervous system, strengths, interests, and developmental needs — then meet them with creativity, compassion, and play.

At GO Therapy, we are endlessly grateful for our OT team and the way they help children and families feel seen, supported, and empowered every single day. 💛

Learning days call for brain breaks too ☀️👟🌿
After a full morning diving into “Torticollis, Tongue Tie, and Infant Feeding,” our team took a mid-day walk to reset, connect, and recharge before heading back for more learning.
One thing we value deeply at GO Therapy is the balance between growth and well-being. Stepping away, moving our bodies, and sharing space together helps us return more present, focused, and ready to learn.
Now it’s back to the books (and babies 💛🍼) as our SLP and OT team continues expanding their knowledge to better support infant feeding, development, regulation, and connection.
Learning together. Growing together. Supporting families together. ✨

Today our team traded in treatment rooms for a day of learning, growth, and COMFORT! 🌱✨
Two of our Speech-Language Pathologists and two of our Occupational Therapists are spending the day diving into the connection between torticollis, tongue ties, and infant feeding. 🍼💛
At GO Therapy, we believe learning never stops. Continuing education helps us better support babies and families through a collaborative, whole-child lens — because feeding, movement, regulation, connection, and communication are all deeply intertwined.
We are grateful for opportunities to grow together as an interdisciplinary team so we can continue providing thoughtful, evidence-informed, neurodiversity-affirming care to the families we serve. 💫

At GO Therapy, we do things a little differently—and we’re proud of it.
We prioritize relationships, follow the child’s lead, and celebrate all the ways kids communicate and grow. Our team supports each other just as much as we support the families we serve.
If you’re looking for a workplace that aligns with your values and helps you grow as a clinician and human, come join us. 💛
