Delta Center

Delta Center Delta Center is a consumer-controlled, not-for-profit organization that provides services for seniors and persons with all types of disabilities.

Delta Center increases personal freedom and independence for people with disabilities. For consumers at Delta Center, personal freedom means self-determination — making your own decisions, choosing your course of action and getting the skills and support you need to achieve your goals. We rate 94% or higher on each of the outcome measures of consumer satisfaction. With the consumer's input and dir

ection, Delta Center can help explore options and solutions they may not even know exist. For example, we've helped consumers:
•Pursue financial assistance from government and community agencies.
•Adapt their living spaces for greater access, ease of use and peace of mind, such as the installation of ramps or bathroom hand rails.
•Learn new skills, including budgeting, meal preparation and self-advocacy. Delta Center was formed in 1997 by a group of local citizens with disabilities and other persons concerned about disability issues. Funding is provided by the State of Missouri and private contributions. All donations to Delta Center are tax deductible.
