Had more family visitors today plus they brought Mary Zeiser- Williams flowers and chocolate (her fav) AND dinners for a few days maybe a week 😊
When you guys come visit you gotta remind me to take photos for the memories, until then I’ll just resort to video camera grabs 😢
Jessica Martin, Billy Martin, Beth Martin & Izzy thank you so much for coming to visit it was nice catching up even if she slept through most of it. We feel the love!!!

Weekend was busy too after a busy week. Ally Ponticello & Joe came over Friday night and muscled Mary Zeiser- Williams upstairs in her wheelchair to take a shower, that was a chore plus Ally, Mary & I were wore out getting her showered.
Her muscles &/or brain just aren’t helping anymore, she’s been sitting still for too long. She can’t use the walker anymore we have to get her around in the wheelchair 😔

Another busy week coming up, we have to wait and see how therapy evaluation goes Monday, then Mayo video doc visit on Tuesday and Palliative call on Wednesday to decide if she can make the trip to MD Anderson in TX on Friday. Might have to push it til she gets her strength built up to travel 😭

Had some visitors yesterday and of course I forgot to take a group photo 😔 It was nice seeing Laura Mennemeier Martin, Trinity Martin & Noah. They hung with Mary while I got to cut my grass and my mom’s too. I’m feeling it today my back is killing me getting too old for this s**t 😆 😔

It’s been a busy crazy week here with Mary Zeiser- Williams. For starters she slid out of her lift recliner onto her butt Sunday early morning and I had a hell of a time getting her back up. So I bought a floor to sitting lift. She’s been sleeping all day and night only getting her up with my help and the walker to go to the bathroom a few times a day 😢 She’s eating but I’m having to sneak her crushed up meds into her food or dessert. Then this morning I got her into the bathroom left her in there for just a minute by herself and she fell sideways and luckily didn’t hit her head. And nope I didn’t get the floor to sitting lift put together yet SO it is together now 🤦‍♂️ And on top of all that our youngest has to have another elbow surgery Friday because the screws came loose and she can’t bend her elbow

Tonight was a pretty good night, we got to see our oldest Ally Ponticello she helped me out with getting Mary Zeiser- Williams up and to and from restroom, that is truly a chore in and of itself. She ate dinner and I snuck her crushed up meds into her tapioca pudding plus she had a little bit of a sno cone. And yep now she is napping. I was able to get a couple of the meds in liquid form so we’ll see how that goes as soon as I get them. 🤞🍀

Mary Zeiser- Williams is still very tired and fatigued, she a professional napper. Ella is sleeping right next to her momma still recouping from her broken elbow 😢
We got to hang out and see our niece Sarah McPike, she was a BIG help today with Mary so I could run some errands and cut the grass. As Mary always tells everyone I cut the grass 8 days a week 😝
Hoping to get her into the day institute again starting next week for OT, PT & Speech.
