One of the hardest parts of being an eye doctor isn’t telling someone that their vision is changing.
It’s looking a patient in the eyes and having to say, “You’re losing your vision… and right now, there isn’t a treatment that can stop it.”
Those are words no doctor ever wants to say and no patient should have to hear.
That’s why days like today mean so much.
The St. Louis VisionWalk raised OVER $92,000 for the Foundation Fighting Blindness, helping support research that is working to change that conversation from “there’s nothing we can do” to “here’s what we can try.”
Every dollar represents hope. Every step represents progress. Every person who showed up today is helping us see a future where blindness doesn’t have the final word.
Thank you, St. Louis, for helping us keep that future in sight.
