Be HER. The woman who isn’t trying to be the prettiest, the funniest, or the most successful. The one who walks into a room and brings warmth with her. The one whose light gently reminds other people of their own.

Be HER. The woman who falls in love. With quiet mornings. With thunderstorms. With the ocean. With learning. With good books. With conversations that change her. With building a life she doesn’t need to escape from.

Be HER. Not everyone will understand her. Not everyone will choose her. But at the end of her life, she’ll know she never abandoned the softest, truest parts of her.

The calling was a voice only I could hear, and it asked that I take a path I couldn’t see.

Almost every day, fear walks beside me. But I keep walking. It’s not because I’m “brave” every day. Some days, I want certainty more than I want purpose.

I keep walking the path because if my life has taught me anything, it is this:

I have not been given everything I wanted. I have been given things far greater than I knew to ask for. Dreams I wasn't wise enough to dream. Doors I wasn't bold enough to knock on.

So when the calling speaks I listen. Because the one who calls me has always been faithful.
