When I see a rainbow, I feel like it’s a beautiful wink from the other side just to say “hey don’t worry, everything is going to be just fine” 😊 It always makes my heart happy.

I’ve been thinking about something the last couple of days and wanted to share it with you guys.

Wednesday my dog started to have some health issues (thankfully he’s good) and I had a lot of anxiety about it and spent all day yesterday literally biting my fingernails. I chewed them down so far that some of my nail beds were bleeding. 😞 Biting my nails has been my soothing method ever since I can remember. I have countless memories of being humiliated and ashamed because of it.

Today I was given a gentle nudge by my guides to question my self talk around it. When I stopped for a minute and really looked into my feelings, I was telling myself that I was helpless and couldn’t fix the issue with my dog, so I turned to something that I could have control over and that was biting my fingernails. I realized that all throughout my life, I had been biting my nails when I felt helpless.

This realization immediately softened my feelings towards myself. I wasn’t “bad” for biting my nails, I was just looking for control. The rest of the day today, I have been forgiving myself for the unkind words and letting myself know I deserve comfort and peace. ❤️

These are the types of things we talk about in the Raise Your Vibration talks and I think it’s helpful to share the struggles as we all figure out this life stuff. We ALL deserve comfort and peace. Also I’m totally going to paint these nail nubs haha. 😂
